Yes, yes, I know you’ve heard – NaNo is upon us and all that – but you may not have seen or heard about this, trending right up there with Mitt, Barack, and the Prime Minister’s office: NaNoWriMo Openers.
What would the first line of your draft epic novel sound like? How would/does it go?

How funny! I did NaNoWriMo in 2009. It was a blast! And amazing how easy. But then discovered some things about myself. Mainly that I wasn’t willing to edit. Go figure. Are you participating?
I am, and I’m loving it, but let’s just say the word count just isn’t adding up quite yet!

The writing is coming along rather slowly I’m afraid. I’ve got the story in my head, the word count just ain’t gathering!
Guess I just need to keep honing my craft.
